Dan Brown author of The DaVinci code along with Angels and Demons and Inferno and other books. I really liked the book The DaVinci code but I know some said you shouldn't read it because it was evil but I knew it was a work of fiction and not the truth. I also liked the movie The DaVinci code. I like his writing style and I do think he is an amazing writer. I would buy anything he writes and enjoy reading it.

@Marcyaz I'm not really a reader, it's only at times that a book sticks out and I have to read it.

@silvermist I read a lot of the James Patterson books and like his style of writing, the women's murder club novels are an interesting read along with his Alex Cross novels. Wow he has so many out it is hard to decide which I like best.

I read da vinci's code , angels and demons . Among the two, I like angels and demons because of how it depicts the politics inside the vatican. I like how he tell his stories as well, the flashbacks , the present.... It keeps you on your toes.

So glad you are enjoying those books Marcy. I do not read very often, in fact, hardly at all, unless I am online. Pity as I have many books in my kindle library online. Used to read a bit, but not now.

I respect dan brown but the "voice" in his writings, to me, sounds transactional. sort of like when you talk to a voice prompt from an answering machine. sorry. but hey, he's famous and he caused a lot of controversies.

I haven't read Dan Brown's books but I watched the movies from his books. I don't think his books are evil. Since I don't have the religious background, so I don't think it is a big deal about his books' content.
