Firework photo challenge
With living in the UK, I’m lucky because there plenty of fireworks at different times of the year, so unlike when I was over in California. The only fireworks I saw in California were July 4th independence day.
Here in Plymouth the for the past 19 years they have held the national firework championship in August. I’ve been to them twice and they are amazing to see.
This morning I was looking through some photos of fireworks seeing if I could upload some more to the Stock website. While I was doing that I was thinking, maybe a good idea of a photo challenge here on Mylot.
Do you have any fireworks photos to share?
The one I’ve posted was taken last August in Plymouth.

I live in the city of fireworks. In Niagara Falls they have fireworks every Friday night and every Sunday night, plus on every public holiday (Canadian and US), thus in the first week of July we have several fireworks event Canada Day (July 1st) Independence Day (July 4th) plus the normal Friday and Sunday events. This city has also hosted an International fireworks championship, where cities from around the world show of their displays.
There is nothing quite like fireworks over the falls.
Can not find a fireworks picture on this computer, so I have included a picture of Niagara Fall's Skywheel at night.

I don't have any firework photos (yet) because I only started taking photos and saving them to my computer a few years ago and the right occasion has not happened yet.
BUT...
as some of my friends here already know, my son is part of a band - All About Kane - and one of their singles is called "Fireworks" so I will share it here as someone might like to hear it. He is the drummer by the way

Sadly they seem to be at a bit of a standstill with no more new tracks of late. Maybe they will get moving again in the spring. Glad you enjoyed it

@mysdianait I hope so, my two sons play and where in the studio doing some recording but that as far as it got because they still in school. They plan to get back in the studio later this year, all being well.

@kevin1877uk Yes, I have a cabinet that is full of slides. My husband loved to take photos, but to scan all of them is a very hard work.

It's done on a long exposure of about 3 seconds to get the effect.

No firework photos unfortunately. You are right though, we only set fireworks off around the 4th of July. In fact, we don't sell them until then as well. I guess there is a store somewhere that you an get them year round, but I don't know of any.
Oh we do set them off for the new year sometimes.
