Nothing New

New member today. Posted a discussion. I say discussion because a new member from yesterday responded to her.
I reported her.
The discussion went along these lines: "Hi, I need money. If you have $10 you can put it in my PayPal account."
The other user responded telling her to be active here and she can earn money that way.
It is nothing new, I know. I was impressed that someone actually told her to earn her own money.

People just expect money to be handed to them. That's not how life works.4 people like this

Quite a few people need wake up calls about that.

@TheHorse You refer to those who abuse social security disability and food stamps I assume?

Apparently that new user didn't read the guidelines as that isn't in there at all, as we are to discuss, not ask people for money. She doesn't realize that she will make $10 if she takes her time in here to interact with others. If I had seen it, I would have told that person that they can't beg for money in here, as no one will give someone they don't know, any money. We woud have to have rocks for brains to do that.
I know I would never. I work for mine and so does everyone else, so what makes that person didfferent? I am glad you reported her, as she will learn that way, that she can't beg in here.

@GardenGerty I hope she heeded it and starts interacting with others, or she won't earn . I have never encountered anyone begging in here, and I hope I never do, either. I would certainly let anyone know that does that in here, that it is wrong and they need to get a job, or better yet, start interacting, and the earnings will come .

It seems strange to me that a person would think we should carry them by putting $10 in their paypal account. That person can earn here just like anyone else does and not be begging for money from us. You can sure tell what kind of person that is can't you.

I don't know but to ask us to put money in someone's account on here is beyond my understanding, why should we. Can't that person respond and make a discussion like everyone else on here? I am not giving anyone my money from here.

Our society seems to have convinced people that is how to get along.

That comes up pretty often as well. If you sign under them they have a referral. They take their chances on getting that.

Actually I have also had people ask me to sponsor them to come to the US. It does take all kinds.

@GardenGerty Your kidding? They want you to pay for them to come to the US? That takes a lot of nerve.

I did not even respond, just reported. Even the person before me who had only been here a day told her to get busy and earn some.

I guess she looked at it as a gamble that cost her nothing. (except an account here).

Yes, @Hatley . I could not imagine, as this person was supposed to be from the US, a developed country where there is opportunity to earn. Then, they had come to one of the most genuine earning sites and begged. It is a waste of their time, our time, and of space on the server.

Some people! The money I'll earn from here will go toward book editing and I wouldn't dare even think of asking for money from the members. I'll earn it just like everyone else.

Having a purpose for what we earn is exciting and motivating. When we respond to other users we are giving them money in a much better way.

Begging; the new way of life I guess. I get so irritated seeing people beg and scam in very aspect of life.
