I cannot imagine how many cows were necessary to produce the leather for those big shoes.

So who do the shoes belong to or is it just something to make people buy more shoes there?

Why should they make such a large shoe? I think it is a waste of leather, and effort. They can make a stone carving and that will last a long time.

@scheng1 It is a part of having their festival celebration. They don't produce it annually. It is only one pair of shoes.

I've already took a picture with this shoe several years back. I can hardly believe that shoe to be way too big.

That is certainly a big shoe. I hope they never find anyone to fit it - they'd then have to make a pair for it! :)
