my soft toys

I have many soft toys, some gifted to me by my loved ones, some that were made at home. My friend's daughter was living with me for some time.(She had an emotional issue to deal with) I had sent my maid then for soft toys making classes and she in turn taught us how to make soft toys. I was not good but she and this person who was staying with me created many toys. Some they sold and some are still with me.
I even picked up toys when I visited Germany and Australia. That kangaroo is sitting pretty in my hall. Preiti loves to play with it.
I use them instead of cushions in my living room.
Soft toys when cuddled help release one's tension so say those who deal with people who have emotional issues.
The toy in the picture was given to me by one of my friends who came from the UK to spend a couple of days with us. She is my first online friend converted to a real one.
Do you like soft toys?

I used to collect Koala bears and had them all over my room. Now my grandchildren have many that have become favorites

@allknowing I don't think there's an age limit for loving those cuddly soft toys

Yes, I like them. I still have a few that I bought for myself and were given to me. I also have some that were my kids when they were young. I could never give those away or sell them because each time I look at them, it reminds me of my children. There were two stuffed animals I did have that I sold on Ebay. There have been a few I have given away.

When I was in the US on holiday, I was at my niece and she had a room full that were sort of 'out of commission' I got some home from her collection.

@allknowing Probably not the best thing for small children as they might chew the buttons off and swallow, but they are just as the name suggests, stuffed animals that are adjustable because where the animal would have joints such as shoulders and hips, the arms and legs are attached with string kept in place with buttons. Very cute and a way to use buttons that have sentimental value.

What is a button joint? Can toys made this way be cuddled?

Soft toys are supposed to be good companions even for seniors.
