My wedding picture

Since I have been posting pictures of me when I was younger, I thought I would post a picture of me and my ex on our wedding day.
It does bring back memories of the best day of my life. At least it used to be the best day of my life.
I still care about him, and I am hoping that maybe someday, we might get back together again. If that never happens, then I have excepted it.
The church we got married in is the church I grew up going to every weekend.
I am happy that I finally found my wedding album, as I can have the pictures to look at.
I hope you all enjoy the picture as much as I have over the years.

@TiarasOceanView No it cetainly isn't, but maybe one day, things will be different. I am also glad that we talk to each other every day, as I do think that he still cars about me, but is afraid to say anyting. Thee has to be something to that, since he calls me every day, at the same time. I am happy to talk to him too.

Thank you so much. It turned out prettier than what I thought it would, as I really don't like dazies, but the florist did a very good job on all the flowers for the attendants as well as for mine. My gown was only $90 and the vail, $35. I made sure I wasn't going to spend a fortune for my dress, when I was only going to wear it once.

@Drosophila yea, I got married at the age of 22. My dad really didn't like him all that well, at first, but he did learn to love him later on.

Thank you for saying so. I was only 22 in that picture, and that was so long ago, but you know, I remember my wedding day, like it was yesterday. That might seem odd, but I guess that since it involved me, I would remember it more than if it happend to another family member.

@celticeagle Yes we are very close. He will come and do my taxes for me as well. I am happy that we are friends and I am sure that we will always remain friends.

He said that he fell out of love with me and that we were no longer compabile, all after 35 years. I was confused, and still am, but I have forgiven him and moved on without him. I would like to get back together with him, but if it isn't meant to be thet i will accept it. I am glad that we do still talk though.

@SIMPLYD You are so right. It isn;t up to either one of us, as it is up to God whether we get back together or not. I am not going to be uspet if he says no ,as he knows more than either one of us does. He knows what is best for us more than we know oursleves.

Thank you. Things don't always go the way we planned, and that is a shame when it happens, but we just have to deal with things as they come, and hope for best. One good thing though is that we still talk to each other everyday,. We have become very good friends and I am glad about that.

Karen, thanks for sharing your photo. You were a beautiful bride. Sorry to hear the marriage didn't pan out. As a product of divorce which runs in my family (my parents, my aunt and uncle, and my brother and first SIL), I hope you can stay friends with him in some way.

@MarymargII They are on the top shelf of my closet, so they are easy to get to. I might start another discussion eventually, but I have to decide what picture to use to post a discussion around it.

I am shy but I was very happy that day, as we only knew each other for a few months, and then decided to get married, and it lasted 35 years. I am thakful it lasted that long, and hopefully, we will get back together again sometime.

I am sorry it boke up too, but I am still glad that we do talk every day, as I feel that there might still be hope for us yet. I am certainly not going to stress about it, if we don't get back together again. It is up to God anyway, and not up to us.

Thank you so much. I have my wedding pictures as memories, since we are divorced now. We have been divorced for 9 years, and it hasn't always been easy on eitehr one of us, but we are both dealing with it. I am so glad that we do talk to each other.
