I Am So Sleepy Today

For some reason today I keep trying to fall asleep. This is unlike me. I am usually up running around and getting into things.
Do you do this? Get sleepy and let your body tell you to go take a nap?
I think that I will listen to my body for a change and go lay down for a bit.
I do hope that I will be able to sleep tonight. If not, I will see you here online.

I slept all the way home after having my tooth extracted. Now I want to take a nap, but need to complete a few household tasks first.
My hubby is snoozing on the couch. He could sleep on a bed of rocks.

@HazySue If I had taken that much needed nap I would have been up in the middle of the night. Not something I prefer to do. After finally going to bed at 10:30, I slept through the night, only waking once to go to the necessary room. I woke at 8:30, rested and ready to roll.

@ElusiveButterfly I know what you mean. I have a problem not only going to sleep but staying asleep. I am glad you are feeling ok and rested after getting the tooth extraction.

@ElusiveButterfly You should absolutely lay down. The house chores will still be there when you get up.

Sometimes our body just runs ragged and it's telling us to slow down. Hope when you take your nap your more energized and can get things done

That is one cute cat. I have a sleeping disorder and sleep on a cycle. I stay up real late for several weeks and sleep my day away. Then I start getting up earlier and going bed earlier. Cycles.

@HazySue ...Some days I do and some times I don't. I feel fatigued most of the time. Some of that is the severe depression.

@celticeagle I wonder, do you end up with the sleep you need? Does it work out ok for you?

@celticeagle depression can take all the energy out of your body. I hope it becomes better for you.

I don't like it when my sleep is out of whack. Fortunately, it does not happen very often.

@xstitcher lucky you. I sometimes find it a little hard to get the sleep I need.

If I feel that way I allow myself a fifteen minute catnap...no more...then I get up and get going and that draggy sleepy feeling is usually over.

@Morleyhunt I wish I could do that. My 15 minutes leads to longer and then I usually am more tired than I was before.
