Strolling On The Lake Shore

In spite of what the weatherman has announced, we had a beautiful and sunny Easter.
We received my family to have the Easter lunch together.
In the afternoon, we all decided to cross the border and go for a walk on the shores of the lake of Como.
It only took fifteen minutes from our home, to reach our destination and we have spent a pleasant afternoon.
I took some photos to share with you. Alfredo (@amadeo), if you plan to visit, here it is how the lake of Como looks alike.
Today is grey and it rains, a day to stay at home.

Do you need a passport to cross the border. Was it just a stroll or did you stop for coffee somewhere.

@LadyDuck Was It Gelato. I missed having it when I was in Italy. Our guide never told us about it

@allknowing Yes, it was gelato, my niece wanted to have a gelato, I had a tiramisù.

What a beautiful view! My easter was okay, I went to see a friend who was in the hospital. The weather was a bit dreary but I do not mind that at all. I came home and had ham, pinto beans and mashed potatoes. It was delicious.

@LadyDuck Our world's weather is crazy. Spring is here but at times you don't think so as it gets cold. Some parts of the states have had snow even now!

@ScribbledAdNauseum We had the craziest winter in 135 years, no rain, no snow and no cold. I do not know what to expect for spring.

@TiarasOceanView I even speak the same dialect they speak in this part of Switzerland. Once upon a time this area was part of Italy, we lost it.

it was gloomy last Good Friday but this Easter Sunday, the sun rose and shone its bright happy rays. Now, the cold temperature is back again; and we thought it is already summer here?

I'm so jealous. That scene looks so beautiful. Someday, when I have the chance to go there, I'd visit that lake.
Easter was normal for us, we just had to work. It's lame, but it's the usual for us.

@LadyDuck I hope that I can return to your part of the world one day. I can remember the beauty of the Matterhorn when we were on vacation in 1977.
