The little girl loves powder

Yesterday, my little friend's little sister was crying. So I rushed out of my home, thinking that it is emergency and they need help. Our flat is less than 10 feet away from theirs so I can hear her. So the kiddo came to our place, and for somebody who was crying so loudly she was happy again. With just some powder which she applied on her face and screamed every time she did it and looked in the mirror. That...is life. Girls are beautiful. Do you get it Indians?

Girls. Hmmm I have a wife I cannot live without. I have a baby girl the smile of whose matters to me the most on the planet. And I had 3 crushes in my entire life... and all of them were girls.... Oh wait. I had the worlds best granny and have the worlds best mom... and they two were girls sometime. Anything I am missing? EDIT: And I have a very loving and caring MIL here who again was a girl some decades back

That is interesting. Sad to hear that because nothing good comes from an all male society. I am glad the little girl is OK now and you know how to make her happy.

The ratio as per 2011 census is down to 914 girls for every 1000 boys.

@crossbones27 ..But lawmakers are still not keen to change laws to make girls more secure. Once the girl is more secure and a little bit of hard thinking goes into it, which believe me is not difficult, rapes and such things will come down. As things stand, people are now getting scared to have baby girls because of insecurity all around, apart from the traditional evil called "dowry".

@vandana7 Wow, I would be mad if I were a guy. Well, I am a guy. Just if I were an Indian guy and that was my culture. I think you know what I mean. lol

@vandana7 Sometimes, my kids play the "screaming" game and from the other room, it is difficult to make out whether they are crying and shouting while playing or is it for real. Some boys are cute too, but most often little boys start throwing and damaging things, even furniture. But mostly girls do cute naughty things. So they are more loveable, though I am totally against any discrimination that I see in favor of boys and girls. Yes, it might be surprising that while many Indian families continue to favor boys more, there are some cases, where girls are given unduly higher importance, which is also wrong.

@TiarasOceanView ..And I like the delicate behavior of the girls...something dainty ...cute way of tilting face, and almost a teasing way ...of doing things...you tell her don't do it..she stops then a few seconds later she looks at you and starts doing it...babies are so cute..

I am glad that a little make up made her happy. Of course Indian girls are beautiful as also are Chinese girls. I do not know why some cultures dislike little girls.

My little friend's little sister was crying because she fell down. I brought her over to my place, and sat her near the dressing table...she used the face powder to entertain herself and me. Hope I am clear now. :) And I was also trying to get Indians to see girls as cute because in general Indians don't want little girls. :(
