In the UK we had a storm arrive over the Easter break called Storm Katie. Luckily it was not as bad as I thought it would be, but it still kept me indoors. It meant really heavy hail stone, Gale force winds and very heavy rain. The thunder also scared me a little, but that soon died down.
Did you experience Storm Katie?

We had very high winds , it blew against the side of my house so hard the internal door opened , frightening. We are on the beginning of the row facing north. We always get the weather bad. Apart from that our area did not get much damage. Other areas lost power , had trees down and flooded. Poor souls.

I don't think we had a storm with that name and when did they start naming all these storms, it's more confusing I think.

Storm Katie wasn't here in my part of the US but we've had our share of bad storms. We're just having very bad wind yesterday and today but the sun in shining

She caused havoc in my neighbour's garden, the cheeky thing. Wind and hailstones and rain, but no thunder. It was very exciting.
