A lovely afternoon.Got some cleaning on the grounds here.
then we took a break to watch the movie Concussion.
Not sure why this film was not nominated for the Academy Awards.
Will Smith who I always admired since the Fresh Prince of Bel Air.
He play a Dr.who is from Nigeria.He does mostly autopsy that this lead to
the multiple concussions is the under lying cause of brain disorder in playing football.He had received harsh treatment form the NFL establishment.
He Will Smith should at least been nominated for his portrayal of
Dr.Bennet Omalu.
Football is king in America.The best sport ever.
I can see why that he did not attend the event as many other did not.
Strongly recommend this film.

I really like Will Smith. He is a versatile actor, quite talented. Hoping that I can see this movie one day.

Sounds like a very good movie! I will definitely have to see it. Now I understand why Will Smith and his wife were upset about the Oscars and did not attend. It really is a shame that he wasn't nominated. Thanks for the recommendation!

I'm glad neither my son nor any of grandsons are interested in playing football. I always thought it was way too dangerous with head injuries

Apparently, from what I heard, Smith's performance was not award quality, according to those who nominate. I have always liked him as an actor.

Many of our Australian footballers suffer from concussion too. It sounds a good film.

I've not seen the movie, he's not really my most favorite actor so I probably won't see it.
I had a very productive afternoon. I was able to spend lots and lots of time on the site here and did a big houseclean in the house. It looks so much better and now I won't have to do it on the weekend! Next event here, that will be making supper.
