Moderator, moderator, will you clear my doubt.. / myLot

Ok..this is only for fun.. But serious stuff. If we have a moderator, and we DON'T KNOW WHO HE OR SHE IS. And if we have a doubt and we need clarifications... Is there anyway we can ring the bell, asking for the moderator to be at our service?

Beyond the GoAskAlice and MyLotBugs I think you would need some Aladin's Lamp for that... And only expect the Genie is not drunk and asleep... Mine has gone on a vacation or ummm... maybe a holdiday

In a word, 'no'. While there are indeed other people here that work as Moderators, only Alex is the official liaison for us. (At the moment, anyway) The only 'bell' you can ring for anyone else is by using 'report'.

I did not mean 1 moderator. The site could have more of them, and everybody gets a right to ask only one question per month or so. Like in Tennis matches. lol.

So far I don't see much other than @GoAskAlice and recently @myLotBugs here that are active inside here. I think "FTL" has responded accurately here.

I generally have noticed that lotters that have doubts tag the admin. And there is also the pm way. And if I have any doubt about a discussion I am going to start then i ask around from the veterans here. I had asked DE about my doubts couple of times. I once asked Jabo too. They cleared my doubts. Even Diana helped.

You can just start a discussion thread and ask about it. Someone will give an official answer, and many experienced persons will also share their experience. if you have unknowingly done something not permissible, the discussion will be deleted.

Usually, members trying to help are doing site some favor because without us parting with monies for maintenance of site they are managing. I have no issues about their help.
