'Mouth watering' simply means that the food is delicious enough to make you salivate. Savory also comes to mind. The term has been used as early as the 18th century. For me, there are a lot of foods that are mouth watering, roasted pig with crunchy skin is one! Yummy! Crispy fried chicken. A medium done steak. Burgers with a good serving of fries as a side dish. I could go on and on.
Of course, mouth watering can also be used to describe the hot sexy lady that walks her Pomeranian every 3 in the afternoon in the park where I jog. That works for her as well. LOL!
So my fellow myLotters, what makes your mouth water? Food or otherwise? Feel free to chime in.
Cheers!

The picture brings to mind a pork roast I grilled once out on our old grill. I put rosemary and lavender on and in it and it was so tasty. Talk about mouth watering.

Roast dinners... yummy!
I'll pass on the banana split. Just plain ice cream would suit me!
