Where are you From

Good afternoon.How is everyone doing here. I just have one thing on my mind. Most post that I have read lately and meant to mentioned that they do not tell us where there are from.Mostly will say United States. That is fine.But I wish that they will tell us where. Why am I asking this?Well there are some state I like to visit and someone here is from that state.Then I will ask question.What is there to do there and any place of interest.If Someone ask me about New Hampshire I will be glad to tell them and who knows they can come and visit us. I love to know where you are from?Maine to California. I do not think that it is the privacy of where you are from? Do I?

@CRK109 this I have been there many times in the 50's.We used to got to the beach at Scarborough not sure on the spelling there That is good.Been to Newport Naval base etc.Thank you.

@amadeo Scarborough Beach is one of our favorites. And I'm sure that most people who come to RI go to Newport. It's so gorgeous there. I've lived here most of my life, except for 10 years that I lived in CT. New England definitely has a hold on me. :)

The closest I ever was to RI was when I lived in New London, CT in the early eighties, but I was only there one year. Some friends went to RI for some sporting event or concert I think.

As I've learnt where all the states are now, I like to know where each American is from too. I had to put the nearest town as my small town wasn't an option but it's still very close.

I vacationed at the Jersey shore every summer until the past few years. Since I've been taking care of my mom I have't been able to take a vacation but I do love the jersey shore

I live in Michigan, same state as SusanZ but I'm near the thumb joint of your left hand facing down whereas she's on the lower side of the smallest finger. I've lived in NH for one year from Aug 1970-1980, in CT from Aug 82-83, in North Caroling for the two years bettween Nh and CT. I've lived two years in KS while attending a different type of Bible college, and one year in Ohio. I've spent time in Tennessee, New Mexico, Indiana and drove to most of those states, so I passed through quite a few others. My mother took my siblings, spouses and myself to Hawaii some years back and last year I spent ten days in Guatemala. I've also visited Montreal, Quebec and Stratford Canada. The first two with French class and the last one with family to see a play.
