Coming to an End

The notifications are caught up. I checked out what's hot and saw I've read those too. Checked out the follows activities, and read those too - same as hot discussions. Checked out newbies and found nothing of any kind of interest. Sorry, but one liners don't interest me. I need more of a post than that to sink my teeth into.
So it looks like I've been the round to everyone who was here today. So I'm going to work on a book, I hope. Since my father passed, I haven't had any desire to get back to it yet, but know I must. I did work on Scarred a bit yesterday. Took care of all the suggestions that came back to me from the person who's helping me with the edit for the second edition.
I hope I get out of this lack of enthusiasm I've had for everything since my father passed. I know it's all part of grief, but it's infringing on my life.
So with nothing more to read, I will leave you for another day and will check in with all of you again tomorrow.
Thanks for reading.

I think it is normal to be a bit depressed for a period of time after a major family figure passes. Just take it a day at time. Hope you feel better with spring coming. I just recently wrote a discussion about adding members to my follow list from time to time. People who respond to my discussion or just people I find interesting in the explore category.. It has helped me to find more/new discussions to respond to.

@celticeagle It does feel good to have it changed around. I didn't think it was possible.

sometimes forcing through it, even for small amounts helps. Like 5 minutes today 10 minutes tomorrow, etc

@just4him well not the actually doing something useful, but the sitting down and staring at it can be. Writing can be too, it may be crap, but it's still writing. Ive learned that with NANOWRIMO

@Jessicalynnt I am severely annoyed with myself when I write crap. If I can't do better than that, I don't write.

At least you recognize what is happening and know why. That means you can fix it.

I tried to do a lot today, but the computer fought with me so it's taken all day to get the notifications done and I still have a lot to do.

@ShyBear88 I usually find plenty to read here. There isn't always something new to read here. Some people don't post every day, and some people only post once a day, so it really limits what I find to read that I haven't already read.

@BelleStarr I get the same way. But what can we do except plow through them. They are always interesting and then I get to find out what everyone who commented is up to. I love interaction!

I totally understand your feelings. It's almost a year since my Daddy's passing and I can't seem to muster up any real enthusiasm on most days. Praying that you will be able to focus on your book soon.

Thank you. I intend to get at it today. I didn't get at it yesterday at all.
