A very nice day, weather wise and personal activity wise.
My long-awaited computer microphone arrived at last, though I had no time to test it out before venturing out to take photos, and prepare my script for the evening’s Game Of Thrones themed comedy cabaret in which I was participating.
The show itself, at Manchester’s Gulliver’s Bar was really well attended, including two guests invited by me with complementary tickets. My own set was well received, and after a few of us took part in a competition to speak like characters in the series, I won a prize, a Game Of Thrones Jamie Lannister action figure.
Several of us remained drinking at the bar until quite late on, and I got a taxi home about 1.30 am. A huge thanks to everyone at Flim Nite, especially Jack & Jasmine.
Saddened to learn of the death of singer, Prince.
