I cried just like I did the first time I saw it 34 years ago. The child actors were awesome in this movie and one of them has gone on to be very well known. I know the picture that I've posted with this is a dead giveaway to many of you but in case it makes no sense to you, it's E.T. and his sidekick Elliott. It was worth watching for the 2nd time and it probably helped that I haven't seen it since 1982.

It was the first movie I ever owned, and my grandparents bought it for me at Christmas. I hadn't seen it, but I loved it.

Awesome @Marilynda1225 I switch tween Netflix n Amazon, at least that way I have some really good choices even though most of what I like are simply reruns, I can't get into the new crud on TV right now, not even the new Xfiles.

I remember taking my kids to to movies to see it. I believe that was the debut of a very young Drew Barrymore as Elliott's little sister.

Yes it was. I think ET started her career .... but don't quote me, I know very little about her.

I have not watched the full movie. Just one scene here and another there. From that alone I know it's a good movie.

I knew it was ET by the picture without even reading anything. I remember the movie and it was excellent. I wouldn't mind watching it again as it was so good.

That certainly was a great movie and I haven't seen it in many years. I bet my grandchildren would enjoy it and I'll have to suggest it next time we're looking for a good movie to watch together
