So the Donald is coming to my town on Friday (A waste of time)

On Friday at 7 PM, Trump will appear at the Lane County Fairgrounds to presumably speak to a crowd. My city is one of the most liberal, blue places in the very blue state of Oregon and I hope that his visit is met with a yawn of indifference. But, I expect that there will be protesters and that the local folks (if there are any) who support him will show up to cheer this perfectly terrible candidate who has won the right to run for President under the GOP banner.
It is such a wast of time and money for him to be here. Oregon will not vote Republican in November and has few electoral votes compared to California and even Washington.
Oh well, it is his time and his money. I only hope that it does not cost local law enforcement too much to keep order.
The photo is one I took when I happened to see the majestic building his local supporters chose for their headquarters. Very impressive, huh? There was a very expensive Lexus parked outside, no surprise there.

It would be fabulous if the protesters stayed home. Then there were be a very little crowd, due to the reasons you explained above. That would make it embarrassing and not just a waste of time and money.
Received a call from Hillary's people tonight. There is a training session Saturday, but it is too far away. I told them to call me back if there is something in South Orange County. This is where I live and where I am willing to help.

@JamesHxstatic I just hope that Sanders gets his youth voters to come out for Hillary. I also hope the Conservatives go nuts and put up a third candidate.

Ooh! It's rather scary knowing this man will be so close to Idaho. Ugh! I am surprised he has gotten as far as he has in the running. Scares me to think about it all. I heard an analyst say the other day that Trumps feels Hillary has no concept of foreign situations. I think he is the one that doesn't.

@JamesHxstatic ....I totally agree. This one subject is foremost in my trepidations about him becoming president. He has said he would choose someone for VP that would help him in office but this one subject has me really scared. Hillary will do well but, with all the idiots in the US I am afraid he may get in there.
