Because that is how good I am. 
I can create any type of discussion I want to.
For instance this one will flounder somewhere among the middle of the list.
It will receive some responses, but it won't receive a whole lot.
And that is my plan. 
Because I felt the overwhelming urge (although I don't know why I am never underwhelmed) to write something, even though I really have nothing to write about so far today.
I am sure something will come up later, but for the moment, we're just killing time.

Well I know someone who said she doesn't have anything to right so she wrote a topic saying titles of myLot should follow the technical rules of writing since she's bothered by how we make titles on myLot without following what we learned from school. How awesome is that?

This one will do fine - it's not like you ever write for top list position. Just like you NEVER boast about earnings. People read you because they like you and because you contribute a lot to the site. That's why you get to the top. Which is doubly frustrating to the people who don't get the reads.

I hate it, because I do try to not mention them, and then occasionally I will give someone that asks a straight-out answer about it, and suddenly I am boasting...oh well, can't please everyone

G'mornin' friend. Most of my discussions flounder in the middle but that is alright with me. Once in a while one shoots up there a little. Just as long as they do not tank I am happy. I find that sometimes mine just keep on earning a little bit at a time.

You know, this reply would be in danger of 'being Reported' if @JolietJake were trying to "have a point to the discussion." Even though he's not, you might try to make the post a little longer ... bumpity-bumpity-bumpity-bumpity-bumpity-bumpity-bumpity-bumpity-bumpity-bumpity- etc.... to make it "worth" the fraction-of-a-'cent' (or whatever 'one-percent of an Australian Dollar" is).
