I meet in church this day my teenage suitor, Unbelievable!

Yes, I told myself, shocking ! When I was 18, and a college student that time, I had a suitor. His name is Bob.He courted me for three years, but I never had accepted his love. I do not have a feeling for him despite his physical attributes as handsome, tall , 5"10, clean skin and face, in short he has face value. I do not know, I had no attraction. Maybe God has a plan for me and for him.
This day, I attended a Sunday Mass at 6:30 in the morning alone. I was 7 minutes late due to traffic and hard to park my car. I sat at the middle of the church of St. Augustine Cathedral.There were many churchgoers that I cannot see the priests, there were four of them.It was time to fall on line to receive the Holy Eucharist and I went near the altar, when it was almost my turn the officiating priest smiled at me.I smiled back only to realize that it was Bob, my ex - suitor, now a Catholic Priest.
My Lord, I am so happy to see Bob, now Father Bob. God really has a plan for him.

@cacay1 .. That is unfair...kind of. And risky for others. I mean, what has something like going to bathroom gotta do with belief or non-belief in god. If for the sake for beliefs, they do vow, but end up loving somebody, it is bad for immune system.

Is this only a tradition or a belief? This Eucharist thing. As far as I can see it people do it because of the traditions.

@cacay1 Well, can't we say that this is the tradition of the Roman Catholic church? In this case, we can ask "how do we know that catholicism is the true belief system and not something else?"

I think giving respect to others feelings is giving respect to god's creation, and it may mean having our own feelings take a secondary position. But if there is no harm, why hurt. It is not obligatory to reveal the nature of feelings for the person, especially when the person has not noticed it. But if he was courting you...well, it is a different stuff, especially if it could materialize into something different.
