Britney Spears Ditches Pants at Billboard Awards!

When I logged on to AOL, to check my email before going to bed, this is the headline I was greeted with. I still have AOL because I've used the same email address for more than ten years, and I don't want to change it. But who really cares about Britney Spears's pants? There was a picture of her looking rode hard and put away wet, and it didn't make me want to click on the link and read the article. How do you feel when you see "garbage" headlines about "garbage" people, designed to make some demographic or another "click through" and generate advertising revenues for some site or another? I feel mildly disgusted, but maybe that just represents the fact that I'm the wrong demographic for AOL. I'll attach a racy photo of my friend, and hope that this post doesn't get deleted. She's prettier than Britney Spears, though she doesn't "sing." But she does do art, hold down a real job, and have an IQ over 100.

Has pretty legs too. I think we need to ignore these type of headlines.

She's a cutie. And a good person too. I'm quietly amazed by what passes for "news" these days. Do the publicists of these "entertainers" pay news outlets like AOL to write this cr-p?

She would never make it on an awards show. She is covering what the dresses in these shows display.

Is she still making "music" or promoting double wide trailer homes or something?

It's not really a racy or revealing photo of your friend. Well, I suppose it is if one's imagination went to work.

And each person's imagination can go in a different direction. There's nothing "wrong" with seeing it as "racy."

Thanks John, when sometimes news makers dont find interesting news, they put in all these news to attract attention.

I reckon so. But I see them almost every day, even when airplanes crash and such.

@TheHorse Thanks the horse. I know about news channels in India which only dig out news on violence.

B S has really lost touch with what is real - but then was she ever in touch with what is real?

She made some money. Now she has to look in the mirror and decide what to do with it.

Yep. Maybe she has it in her to study music and do something worthwhile. Maybe not.

Haha I tend to ignore it. All that Kardashian crap too. Who really cares? I feel like everything celebs do are publicity stunts. It would be nice if AOL would post important news stories up top instead of this junk. Theees gotta be something more important going on in the world...

Exactly. It makes me think that AOL is targeting a demographic (very young women from low SES backgrounds?) that I'm just not a part of.

I have been getting Britney Spear“s publications in my facebook wall. The companies that she works for are making propaganda with her image.

This national fascination too many of us have with the "famous" is a direct effect of the left wings efforts to distract the American people from things that matter by filling our lives with nonsense about sports and entertainment, athletes, actors, and performers. It's working rather well, isn't it. A reality show host is our leading candidate for President.

I don't think of Trump as a left-winger, though he's fairly Liberal about some things. And I think of professional athletes as fairly Conservative, though I've never taken a poll. I think of filling our minds with silly wants and stupid TV shows as a Corporate thing. And I usually associate big corporations with Conservatives. Did you mean "right" wing?

@DWDavis In America, I think the powerful "Lefties" and "Righties" are in on it together. They pander to different parts of the audience, but they all support (and receive money from) corporations and special interest groups, and get rich while the rest of us do our best to make it. Corporations, both Leftie- and Righty-supported, generate markets for things we don't need (a "sexy" new car, a new cell phone, really bad music) and make massive profits off of the sheep.

I don't care about celebrities. I read your post because you use AOL. I hope that poor wasted girl gets some help but I really don't go for the celebrity thing. My brother uses AOL and I was surprised that anyone else did. I learned the computer in the library on AOL dial up so the first thing I did was get a different mail box. That dial up AOL was bad. Everyone had a disk in their snail mailbox.

Most of the time I won't touch those kinds of stories, but every once in a while, 1 in a 1000 perhaps, something will make me want to read it. I usually regret it. I like your racy picture.

Your friend is lovely. The only thing that I like about Britney Spears is her perfume that someone bought me a few years back.
