@JolietJake Whats wrong with it being both money and fun ?

I stumbled upon this site while searching for sites to make money online.In the process I was lucky to meet some very nice people. @Jabo took care to make me feel at home and taught me how to find my way around. I am getting to know about different countries, food, culture right from the horse's mouth and this is so much better than books. Also interesting discussions where I'm joining in. Now I enjoy interacting and meanwhile the money counter on the top right corner keeps adding up

Nothing wrong with being here for both...but I think it a bit odd when someone tries to say money is the reason people are here, not for enjoyment

@JolietJake I don't think people can make a lot of money on MyLot. To that it must be more in the nature of a job and on online job sites. I don't really know as I am new here. This site was a lucky find for me in terms of making friends.

I had long forgotten about MyLot until Gardengerty told me they were up and running. Thought they went belly-up. I was glad to see that many of my old friends were still here. Of course there are many many new people joining with the thought that they will get rich quick. They come and they go quickly. Those that stick around are clearly here for the friendships they have made and not the money.

I was still dropping in occasionally during the two year stretch they didn't pay, and I heard back in June of last year in a facebook group that things might be changing again, at which point I exchanged a few messages here with Admin...I was glad to see you come back.

I think most people are here for the money also. But we have to understand that it is not a salary. I like the idea that we earn here. Who wouldn't. But at the same time I think MyLot is much more than that. It is a great incentive to come here everyday. I always try to write posts that are interesting. I hate generic ones.

@JolietJake I know what you mean. I have seen those posts about how much they are earning or ways to make more. I think those posts are not worth it. We earn what we earn, period. I am really enjoying MyLot and have for many years.

I think most people wouldn't be here if they weren't getting something for their efforts, regardless of how small that amount may be, but to state people are here only for the money, as a few people seem to suggest at times, is laughable (to me)

I am certainly not here for the money, as I never paid payout last month, and that is fine with me. I had other things to do, so I wan't in here all that much. I still have other things to do, but I have decided to come in for a bit each day to see what is going on, and take care of my notifications and post to new discussions. I have other priorities besides mylot, so I will be here whenever I find the time, as I do love it, and I do have fun interacting with others.

@JolietJake to me the money is a gift. I don't work for it, I enjoy myself and get two free cappuccinos a month. I love the interaction. But of course in some countries $10 can make a significant difference.
