That is not me really. I am talking about my plants. I have set up a small terrace garden after moving to my new home. That is a bit of work, I continue to do on a regular basis, but its fun and relaxation for me. However its my plants that are hard working. They have been working against the harsh summer heat to give me a lot of veggies and greens. My tomatoes and eggplants have been giving me a great harvest. In fact some of my tomatoes plants were so loaded that the branches broke off. I had to tape them up and support them some more with stakes. My squashes have been doing well too though not so my cucumbers. Its lovely to be eating good, organic food , fresh from the garden. It feels so good to harvest and cook food grown in your own home with your own effort. Its not much, but honestly I take so much pride in my home grown vegetables and fruits. Do you like gardening?

I just recently started gardening this year, first with the snake plant. now a days I'm trying to grow some moringa leaves and an okra. my interest though had lowered a bit because of the time these plants grow.

@Letranknight2015 I am glad you've started somewhere. Moringa is one of the most amazing plants/tree on this earth. The yield okra gives is amazing. Gardening teaches us patience and love in ways life doesn't teach us. Keep up the good work.

I love gardening, but only grow flowers. It must be great to be able to eat what you grow.

@jaboUK All these years I only grew flowers but now that I have the space I decided to venture further and found myself loving it. I know about your lovely begonias and beautiful garden. I guess it needs the same amount of care effort and planning if not more.

@sofssu I live in a rented flat. The first year that I move out I got pots and big boxes on the terrace and grew flowers and mint ,spinach and coriander. But the next year the landlord made some constructions and all those were cleared off. I also gave away all my flower pots on the balcony because I just go back and forth nowadays and there is no one to water the poor plants. Its better they are in some other place where they can be taken care of. Someday in the future ,I know I am going to get a garden back :)

My plants in the community garden are not doing that well. I think there are too many plants in a small area, and the soil are not fertile enough to support all of them.

We haven't had any tomato plants for a couple of years, but I find it's really relaxing and interesting to watch them grow and very satisfying if you manage to get fruit from them. Some years are good for tomatoes, but we've had some cool, cloudy summers the last few years and not much luck.

@Rollo1 We can grow tomatoes all year round.. well almost. Its the cold climate veggies that fail us. However, this year has been really good for me.. though it hasn't been the same for others.
