I'm not the only one that is complaining about the heat

This poor guy isn't being very vocal about it, but you can plainly see he thinks it is TOO hot. Sprawled out under the Squirrel Tree on a root trying to cool his belly off some. It's currently 94 with a heat index of 102, and I know how he feels...no air conditioning in my house. I was going to do a song video, but my fan is pretty noisy, and when I shut it off because of the noise in the background, 45 seconds later I was drenched in sweat...so that will have to wait until it cools down later this evening. Meanwhile, Scar is sprawled out on the porch...he doesn't want to do anything in this heat either. Aw well...I guess the official start of summer is like 10-11 days away, so I'd better get used to it.

It is obvious that you will need to install AC in the tree.

That squirrel isn't sprawled, its melted. And how the heck do you make it through the Midwest summer with no AC...I'd die!!!!!!

It gets this hot in Olney? Shocked...I thought only we suffer that heat...we touch almost 45 degrees Celsius every summer.

@vandana7 The highest I have seen is 110 (about 43) but our humidity is probably a bit higher, and that is what sucks..to me.

I'm sorry it's so hot there and you don't have AC! I could not do that. I have to have AC here or I seriously think I will DIE. Lol.

Boss told me I could turn on the unit at work the other day now...I told him I wasn't going to unless the temp was scheduled to go over 90 for the day because I don't want to get used to being in it at work and then coming home to none.

@JolietJake I have no air at work. Guess it is a good thing that I have most of the summer off!

It's about 5 degrees cooler than it was yesterday, which doesn't sound like much, but the humidity dropped and it's fairly bearable.

Scar was about 15 feet from it and didn't have the energy to even try to harass it

Well today is quite cool, but we have had some horrible heat this spring. I am thankful that at the end of the week we shall have an full house air conditioner installed.

Here in India we already experienced 47 deg.centigrades. Now, we are getting some cool air. The summer is at it's final stage.

Poor squirrel. I feel your pain about not having air conditioning, this is one of the first years I've had air conditioning that worked, instead of making my apartment 10 degrees hotter than it was out side.

I have to say I myself hate summer more than winter. It's easier to warm up in winter than to cool down in summer.

Poor old guy and poor squirrel too. In the heat of summer, I sit with a fan on about a metre away. That helps a lot. It's Winter here now and it's a beautiful sunny day but there is a chill.

We had a very hot day yesterday, warmer then your current 94, and I didn't get the reading with the humidity-thankfully. Today it is quite cool, actually we were sitting outside on the porch, and I got so cold that we had to come inside.

With a heat index of 102, I think I would hide myself in the house with the A/C on for as long as it lasts.

We don't have central air conditioning but we do have 3 window AC units that get used often! Including today. I couldn't survive without them with my asthma.
