* Was so relieved when we got our June water bill. Volume usage was back to 2 digits and the equivalent amount to be paid was back to 3 digits. (We paid a huge 5-digit water bill last month due to a serious leak and other plumbing issues.) So thankful to my siblings who chipped in. Whew!
* Finally went to the dentist. (Had to cancel my appointment last April to help a friend in need.) Premolar and molar were temporarily filled. Must avoid chewing on that side for 24 hrs. Had serious talk about my TMJD (Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction). Sobering.
* Latest survey from GlobalTestMarket (GTM) helped me surpass 1086 market points, was finally able to request payout for 2000 Philippine pesos (43.16 US$). Will receive the money in my Paypal account after one week.
* Noticed that I am nearing 1000 points at ChatAbout (CA) to be able to request the $5 Paypal payout, so have been logging in there more often.
* June and December are the times I get Sodexo Gift Certificates from the AC Nielsen field researcher who picks up my retail receipts every week for their market research. I'll follow her up about it next week. I use it to buy groceries when I'm short of cash.
So that's me mid-year, mid-June so far.
Will try to visit as many of you as I can.

I did three surveys the other day on GTM but only one was credited with 30 points even if I had completed the three...

@brokenbee i would still suggest that you go to the gtm website (through the link i provided) and check your survey history there. you will see all the surveys you took and the results and each survey has a 'report an issue' link next to it. you will also see how many points you already have.

so how will you know how much of that electricity bill you will pay? it would be unfair to let you shoulder all of it.

you get screened out, too? i guess it depends on the demographics they need.
on the other hand, there are times when i do qualify that i don't finish the survey because it's too long and the questions seem repetitive.

@JudyEv when i get surveys about gadgets or technology, i'm either disqualified or can't finish the survey. i get disqualified on the finance surveys, too.

GTM, like most surveys, is slow and can be annoying. but at least it accepts international members and has added paypal. (it used to be paper check)
CA is also a forum but different from mylot. like humanatic, there are features i don't utilize, so it takes me a while, too.
i didn't reach payout here last month, but i'm almost at $5 now, so i have to make sure to drop by now and then.
i'm glad you're still doing well at bitlanders.

I remember that leak you had - thank goodness it got taken care of - yah, a 5 digit bill is huge! Good that the dental appointment was taken care of too. Sounds like your earning stuff has paid off - it's such a feeling of accomplishment when you finally get to that payout point. I am behind with online stuff - been too busy - but this morning I actually qualified for 2 surveys, so at least I got something done for this week.

@hereandthere I know the feeling - especially on the higher payout sites. There are 2 sites I go to (and barely go to) and it is taking me forever to get to payouts - it feels so far away!!

none, actually. even online, you have to do something to earn something. that's why i have a few sites i bounce around in so if i'm bored or annoyed or don't have enough time i go elsewhere.

oh, i'm lazy, too! i have a few sites because i want variety. but i don't reach payout easily because sometimes i forget about them, or when i'm there, nothing interests me.

yeah, i was worried that there might be some 'carry over' if it's not within the bill's 'cut-off'.
it takes me a long time to reach payouts in online sites because i only spend time there when i feel like it and i don't use all the features and i don't set goals. i'll get there when i get there, so yeah, this is all just coincidence.

Sounds like you did well on your sites. Glad you were able to solve your plumbing problem and lower your water bill. Its never easy to pay more money when its unexpected.

not really. sometimes it takes weeks before you get a survey. with posting sites, it depends on my mood, interest, spare time.
