Just came across a Huff Post article wherein is listed the google trending questions shortly after the results of the referendum came about.
The second most asked was "What is the EU?" That's a bit disconcerting. I'm hoping the people asking weren't ones that were actually voting for the Brexit.
Oh and then after David Cameron resigned? The top most question was "Who will replace him?" but people were also curious about his age...
That's alright, last night (well early morning here for me, but probably around 9 am in the UK) I heard that Fox News said "UK left the UN" I mean, fox isn't anything to trust anyhow, but ya think they'd atleast get the headline right!

I've been talking about this all day.
Was actually quite surprised how much of a big deal was made of it in US press...but I suppose in a globalised economy it does have an impact everywhere.
Personally I'm so happy we've taken back control of our country and I'm excited for the future.
I hate the negativity...we are a small Island with a small population but we are the fifth biggest economy on earth.
We can weather any storm...just look at the list of what the UK has invented, we've some serious talent here in many areas.

I've heard that people are asking for another referendum and parliament is set to discuss it at some point.
I've not heard much else as much of the news I heard was this morning before sleep.

@Hanyouyomi pound is climbing, ftse hits a nice level, the french aren't repealing Le Touquet agreement , many EU leaders are saying they want the UK to have favourable trade terms.
I don't know where you're from but if you're from the UK the time for cynicism and bitterness is over.
Leave has won so now it is time to come together and make this country great again without interference from the corrupt and unelected EU officials.

@Mike197602 Well because to some of us this kind of crap spells "the end of humanity...." I mean if people don't have the foresight to look into their options, before picking one, then they can be swayed into doing anything. This is the best example, as many didn't know what the EU was and consequences for leaving were they to vote out.
But my reason to this Googling of the EU after succeeding in leaving it is thus:"It's too late now fools, you made your bed. Now die in it."

Have been watching MSNBC for coverage on this. Pretty interesting. I wonder if the people behind this change were aware of the possibility and ramifications of this big change. I hope things get back to normal and that this doesn't cause a lot of up evil in the world. We really do not need that.

I follow huffpost UK on facebook, and some of my medieval history groups have popped in about it as well. I heard something about a possible new referendum on it, atleast people are asking for it.

I do not believe this. Don't they really know about EU? If it is true there is no difference between the two countries. The point 'WHO SPOILED WHOM?'
