I've created a monster... here at mylot

The other day I wrote a discussion called "No one gets offended if you butt in". It got so many comments I was shocked. I usually read the comment, reply to it and then go to that mylotters profile and read and comment on one of their recent posts.
With that discussion getting over 40+ responses it took me many hours last night just to reply to all the comments. I was really enjoying it though. I love seeing everyone's different thoughts.
Now today I will be very busy commenting on those mylotters posts to catch up since all I did was reply to their comments... I owe them now.
I also have to check on amzreviewtrader this morning, earn what I can on Inboxdollars to try to reach the $40, write a blog and catch up on crowdtap. This will be a very busy internet day for me.

@ModernDayWriter You can be, if you write something interesting and get the right people on your post, you know! It does take a bit of luck, but I've done it before, so you should be able to do it, as well!
I'm not sure if I hit Top Rated with any I've written since I deleted my first set of discussions, but I know I did with at least one of the original ones.

Yes, hon, it can take a lot of work commenting back to all those people! I always thought it was fun to see all the people on different posts, trying to keep up with their responses and the comments that followed after! (When you get over 100 responses/comments on one discussion, it can take more than one day to catch up, too!)
I do wish myLot showed how many interactions were on each thread, rather than how many responses we had on the thread. It would show a truer interaction level.

It did take me most of the day to reply to the comments and then to go to those mylotters posts and leave them a comment. I had a lot of fun with it though as I got to read posts of those I do not usually interact with or have never met at mylot before.

@DaddyEvil I had over 99 notifications today its down to 27 now. I'm getting there. I had never heard of you on mylot either until Carmela tagged you. Were you here at mylot years ago before they quit paying?

@shaggin Yeah, I know, shaggin! That happens to me every once in a while, too!
LOL! sometimes, it is not that I haven't seen the person around on myLot before, either! Like when I talked with platespinner? I have read her comments before on other threads, but had never actually spoken to her before yesterday... And like happened with you on Carmela's thread. I'd never even seen you commenting before, but talked to you because Carmela called me to your box! (I'm very glad she did, too!)
Wait until you wake up one morning and have over 150 notifications waiting for you! (Some people are so funny on myLot. I told someone I had that many notifications and they told me to turn off the "likes" and stuff like that. When I told them the only notifications I get are direct tags, they thought I was kidding (or maybe lying, IDK!) until I showed them by copy/pasting my notifications into the discussion we were talking on. LMFAO!)

Just trying to earn the most I could for the day for the searches took at least an hour. You can do 4 searches to win a prize the highest amount I won was 3 cents. You can only win up to 15 cents a day. I watched all the videos that were 2 cents or more and did a survey. I am pretty much done there for the day and barely earned anything. I don't think I will make it to the $40 amount any time soon.

I know how hard it can be finding what you're looking for on this site, Ruby! Believe me, I do!
I'd be willing to tag you on her discussion she is talking about, if you want? (That is the easiest way I know to find what I need/want.)

I had that happen a few times to me recently. I am sorry you can't spend more time here due to the pain at times. I can lay on the couch with my ipod and still mylot if I am unable to sit at my computer.

I can relate . I get overwhelmed when a post gets many responses . But i am happy one by one responding to them and afterwards one by one go to their posts too , that might interest me .

It's nice that you respond to your comments and great that you read and comment on theirs. There's only a very few that will read yours in return. I'm not saying I mind because I don't comment just to receive. But still think it's a great thing to do every so often.

Yes I noticed that too. I see some that do not comment on my posts no matter how many posts of theirs that I comment on.

That's why if I am busy, I don't leave a discussion because I might not be able to respond to each comment, and worse, I cannot visit their discussions in return.
