too close...

I've been reading how myLotters are missing their earning targets by certain amounts...
One even mentioned how she's a fraction of a cent short. First I thought it's short for reaching the minimum payout amount - that would be a huge bummer! Luckily it was short of a certain targeted amount but the minimum has been long passed...
It got me thinking though... Has anyone come so close to payout but did not quite make it when midnight CST on the last day of the month strikes? If so, how close were you? I wonder if anyone was at 4.9999 or near there by the deadline...

I've always met my payout, except my very first month, but that's because I started in the middle of the month so didn't have $10 yet by the end of the month. I've made it every month since and the only targets I miss are my own daily goals now. And right now that's only because my computer is causing me trouble.

That would be terrible to be so close and not make it.

@responsiveme that counts big time as far as I'm concerned or I wouldn't be here daily...

I was close this time, but didn't quite make it. But I wasn't super close meaning by a fraction either - I think it was something like 4.10 something. Finally by the 4th, I made it - but I was just able to be here a little longer over the weekend. No worries though if we don't make it by the deadline - at least we never lose anything from it as it gets carried over to the next month. I can be happy next month!

@sishy7 I can shoot for double - it is still very early in the month - but we'll see how it goes time wise. We have another crazy month full of more summer vacation adventures! I hardly notice when it's quiet anymore (here, that is
). I'm too busy trying to make noise!

Yes, you can... you'll probably double the amount by next payout!
Glad to hear you were able to be here over the weekend... I was here on and off but I thought it was very quiet - perhaps with it being a long Independence Day weekend and all...

that would be sad if you were that close and just missed it. I missed goals the first month here, but that was at old goals, and I had only been here a couple weeks, but I certainly wasn't a fraction of a cent away, more like a dollar or something

@sishy7 it does, as the dollar is enough out that there was no real way, a cent makes you think if only you'd have worked a tiny bit harder you would have made it

Oh, okay... I didn't know that... I know payments are rounded to two digits after the decimal point. But I'm not sure if to be eligible for payment would be - I mean, say the bank has $4.9999 by midnight CST on the last day of the month, would that be rounded off to $5 to be eligible for payment or would that be carried over to the next month since it's $0.0001 short?

I'm never close at the cut off date. Usually though, by the time it's cut off I have reached the minimum. For me, it takes 2 months to reach the payout, now that it's at $5. When it was $10. it seemed like it took forever! Mind you … I'm not really doing anything different activity-wise. But it seems like I can reach the $5 cash out; whereas it seemed like the $10 was a struggle. I don't know why. Weird!

Yeah, and I think I hurt some people's feelings. (I swear I didn't realize anyone was struggling to make $10 a month! I don't intentionally hurt others!)

It used to take a lot of people multiple months to reach minimum payout when that was at $10... When myLot shifted it to $1 for those two months, and they gave the explanation that it was because so many people never reached payout, I was shocked! I didn't realize anyone wasn't making payout every month back then!
I sure heard about it when I suggested everyone was surely making the $10 every month, too!

Yeah... I just feel bad if anyone's total is so close but not quite make it to $5 by midnight on the last day of the month... But then again, it's not like a total loss or anything - simply mean waiting another month for definite, may even be double the amount, payout...
