Scarlet Pimpernel

Reading the books with reference to the Scarlet Pimpernel in my youth, made me feel that my missing in action here on MyLot is almost like being an elusive Pimpernel and part of the mysterious secret society of twenty English aristocrats . . . "one to command, and nineteen to obey" hello everyone - I am dreadfully sorry for being a little absent lately but my good fortune of babysitting my grandchildren, feeling bowlers and resting when that's all done, has me tired up totally! Tomorrow i am FREE - so to say, therefore I am hoping to spend hours on mylot catching up. If you need me to read something special, please remember to suggest everyone of them. I am sure I will have to Pub crawl; pop in at Oz land; visit a little further down under with Val; find out what WWE smackdown has been up to and then get a few political or weather reports from my UK friends. I dont have Scarlet Pimpernels in my garden, but I have some lovely Pansies that are blooming beautifully this season. “Nobody can keep on being angry if she looks into the heart of a pansy for a little while.” ~ L.M. Montgomery Sending you all some love in my pansies!

I hope those bowlers 'felt' good. Pansies are lovely, I have some too. They soon go 'leggy' though if you don't cut them back.

@Inlemay Oh yes - as soon as they fade cut each flower off as low down as you can. That will encourage new blooms. (Did you mean to put 'feeling bowlers'?)

I am not very active and there is a reason, I am very busy in real life. This week my husband has his last 4 medical tests and then he should feel fully relaxed. We are also shopping for a new car and this takes time. I would keep our old car, because I love it, but you know men.

@Inlemay We have seen three more this morning and in my opinion they all look the same. I told him, but the cheapest. Let's see if he listens.

Thank you for loving my pretty blooms - I am so chuffed with them and everyone who come to my home, gets a greeting by Beautiful happy Colourful Faces of pansies as they enter my front door. Pansies are called "gesiggies" in SA - which means Faces
