Happy To Be Back

I can email you my new address. I should have done that when I moved but I forgot. A change of medication has me feeling so much better. Don't you have neuropathy or am I thinking of someone else?

@crazyhorseladycx I'll send you an email via myLot with my address. The neuropathy is what has had me down for so long. I've had it for years and all of a sudden it went from bearable to where I have been crying. I am on gabapentin (neurotin). I started out at 300mg 3 times a day and stayed that way for a long time. Last year it was increased to 600mg 3 times a day and that helped until recently. The doctor changed it to 800mg 3 times a day and so far, it has gone back to bearable. The pain never goes away completely. I am just scared that one day I will max out on the dosage and then what will happen? I can't walk that good anymore and I'm scared that it's permanent. So far, this has handicapped me more than the RA and fibromyalgia put together. How do you handle it without medication?

'd like to do some snail mail with ya, lol. somethin' a bit more personal than this online schtuff :D so very glad that the new meds're helpin' ya. yes ma'am, i've peripheral neuropathy'n the hands'n feet that tends to migrate't will. no meds help. mine's one'f many side effects from the ciproflaxin :( the healin' from such's takin' years, but i still've hopes to o'ercome 'em all. big hugs!

Yes, it is easy to get caught up with things and not have the time to be online. Things are going a lot better now and hopefully nothing else comes up suddenly.

Thank you so much!! I am doing ok and learning to cope with everything although sometimes it's not easy. Yesterday was a bad day as I was in pain all day but so far today seems a lot better. Daisy and Bella are doing great. Daisy is now a year old and is almost as big as Bella.
