Back from a meeting with my book editor / mentor, I'm feeling good. The way ahead seems clear. I've established a new timeline and we both agree, I can publish the book earlier than anticipated. I had planned on launching it on 1 December 2017, the one hundred year anniversary of the opening of the baths. But, the grant I was awarded has to be spent by 31 March. And, now it will be. It's amazing what can be achieved when you clear a bit of ground and remove obstacles. As the song says, I can see clearly now. My enthusiasm for this project has never been more switched on.

8 months is quite a significant reduction to the time frame, so I can understand your previous concern.

It's nice to finish a project ahead of schedule. Me, well I'm running behind. I'll kick the writing in gear once I get home. At least that's my intention.

I was just ambling along, thinking I had plenty of time. I wish I'd upped the pace sooner. Never mind, all is good. It's amazing what setting myself a minimum number of words every day does for progress.

what great news! i know such's lifted a great burden from ya, hon. would'a been nice to've waited fer 'ts release to match yer target date but i reckon ya can do such early 'n promote't 's a great gift fer the holidays, eh? i'm breathin' a sigh 'f relief with ya, ms. val! big hugs :D
