Do you like to do jigsaw puzzles? I do. It is one of my favorite pastimes. It didn't used to be. When I was younger I used to try to hurry through putting one together. It was almost like I was raving to the end. I don't know why. It turned something that is supposed to be a relaxing exercise into something frustrating. Now I like to look over the pieces slowly, looking for the ones who fit together. I seem to savor the action of slowly putting a puzzle together. Leisurely looking forward to the end result. It's probably a good thing because right now I am working on a Thomas Kinkade puzzle. There are so many flowers in differing shades that it is taking forever to find the ones that go together. Believe it or not, I am actually enjoying looking over the pieces and putting them together. I am not at all putting myself under the pressure to get it finished. Are you a puzzle lover?

@LovingMyBabies that's great. You get to spend time with your son and work on his hand, eye, coordination at the same time.

@HazySue That's super nice about having talking time with the hubby. My Mom no longer lives with us.

@sallypup my husband and I alternately talk and concentrate on the puzzle. It's a time to relax and do something together. Your mother might like doing puzzles again with you.

I can't say I am a puzzle lover, but I really enjoy doing the jigsaw puzzles. It is so nice to put the pieces together one by one, it's just like solving a problem slowly, and eventually it surely gets done. It's a satisfaction to see the beautiful picture and the effort we have put in too. I like doing the puzzles together with others, I think it's a good family activity.

@kaka135 I look at it as solving a problem or mystery also. I now sit and relax while accomplishing the completion of a beautiful puzzle.

I used to enjoy jigsaws, but haven't done any for years. I like doing sudoku and crosswords now.

@jaboUK so do I. I got back into jigsaw puzzles a couple of years ago. I found out that I needed to do things while in a resting position. It seemed tailor made.

Actually I'm not. Brother bought my nephew Avengers puzzle and it took us an hour to complete it. It was giving as a hard time.

@JustBhem some of them do give you a problem. But, you get a sense of accomplishment when you finish them.

I do love to work with puzzles, but find it more and more difficult with my bad fingers and cataracts.

@marlina I don't know what I would do if my fingers and eyes started giving me problems.

Yes, I am. I love doing jigsaws but I tend to get a very stiff neck and shoulders from doing them. I must tense up or something. Now I've found a free jigsaw site and choose the 100 piece games to do online. I do them now instead of Spider Solitaire. The latter disappeared when I switched to Windows 10.
