Bar Soap For Your Face or Cleanser??

Some women swear by bar soap for their face... some women hate it. I know that I have gone back and forth over the years. Most of the time, I find a bar just a little bit too drying for my oily skin. I would love to hear what you are using. Can you imagine what it must have been like for our female ancestors!! They used to use this red soap for most of their cleaning... but I don't know if they would have used in on their face?

I just use shower gel and those face wipe things in the day if I get sweaty. I never use normal soap.

My skin is really sensitive so I have to be careful, but there is always something out there and those facial wipes area god send!

So on my face i have Dove Mostruizer bar that i use. Its better for my dry skin and when im done i even but on vaseline lotion on my face because of how dry it is. I use bodywash everywhere else. Cleanliness is better

@Hate2Iron The lotion helps somewhat, i woke up this morning and had flakes right by the hairline and it was so itchy i actually put lotion in my head because it was so bad.

Bar soap?yeah I used special bar soap for my daily facial wash and apply cleanser liquid because I have few pimples growing.

Earlier I was using bar soap But, nowadays not. I am using only a facewash on the suggestion of my wife as my skin is oily.

I use bar soap as most cleansers I am allergic to so I stick with the same old soap. I think they probably had some issues also but of course didn't talk about them.

yea here too most of them previously used soap for wash face. now using face wash liquid to clean the face.

I do not use the same bar soap that I use for my body. I use a makeup remover first than a cleanser. I have a sensitive skin, the soap did nothing good to my skin.

I guess it depends on how strong it is... Some dry my skin way too much! Have to be careful!
