Hot...Hot...Hot and Humid

It's a sunny start to the day but the temperatures will be going up and then over the next few days up some more.....a heat wave is predicted and I'm not sure I am ready. Ok, I'm never ready for hot and humid weather as I just hate being overly hot.
I much prefer cooler temperatures but not frigid cold nor snow & ice. I'm a middle of the road person when it comes to weather.
Without much rain lately I'm surprised as to how well my neighbors flowers are doing. I can see her deck all adorned by pots of flowers and they are beautiful. I have one little measly pot on my deck and it's barely thriving. It's a good thing my little pot isn't very visible or I'd be embarrassed 
I thoroughly enjoyed my day of quiet yesterday and having the house to myself.
Today it's back to normal and now that I've finished my coffee I have to call the rehab where my mom is to straighten out a bill they sent.

My a/c has been on and I'm sure it will run alot over the weekend when the temperatures soar

It is very hot, i actually am at work and just walked outside to talk to one of the guys outside and had no idea it was Raining. Well its just another day in Sunny Florida. Im glad its actaully raining so maybe i wont have to water my flowers or the garden out back. I need it to rain as my yard looks like its burnt pretty bad too. Been hard lately with no rain in the last couple of weeks.
Hope you have a good day and things are straightened out on the bill for you.

Sorry to hear the heat will be bearing down in your area. We don't have much humidity and this summer is remarkably better than last summer when we had days of 100 plus temperatures and no rain. It will be in the 80s for the next few days, cooling to the 50s overnight. Stay as cool as possible.

@Marilynda1225 I hate hot and humid climates.Here it is supposed to be cool and with occasional showers. No showers so far.But I am glad that it is not very hot.

i used to love the heat, but the past few years'r so not so much. jest wipes me out'n makes me physically ill to be out'n such. 'twas 100 degrees here thursday - one'f many triple digit days this month. the pastures/grass're burnt'n crunchy 'n e'en the cacti're beggin' somebody to't least spit'n their direction. keepin' plants alive'n thrivin' 'tis been a diff'cult task 'n some'f not survived the brutal heat 'n winds.
glad'ja'd that day to yerself 'n hope ya can get that bill straightened out soon.

We have rain, humidity, and mean ugly temps and going up. Tomorrow we're in the triple digits. I'm not going anywhere and all my fans will be on as well as the A/C.

Tonight there are cool breezes here, which I love. But all day it was so hot and humid that I could barely breathe.

I do not like it when it is cold. I like cool weather.
