My Day Draws to a Close

On here. Since it's still early and I have all the notifications done, I thought I would use the remaining time tonight to actually get some packing done.
I'm not exactly certain when I'll be making the big move over to the apartment. Someone approached me this morning at church about helping me, but schedules need to be worked out and then my son reminded me that he's going back to Boston to help his cousin move as well, but he will only be gone for one week. He can't be gone too long as his classes for the next semester will be starting soon.
I also have things coming up that also put a crimp in the move - family reunion August 6 and class reunion August 13. So unless I move at night during the week, I might not get completely moved in until the middle of August.
So in the meantime, I'm going to get some packing done and maybe watch some television while I do.

I've had a wonderful Sunday. The feast and carnival came to a close. I saw the marching band again, saw tons of people at the carnival and got to sit back and enjoy the fireworks right outside my windows. Now they're taking the rides apart and getting to move on to their next place. How wonderful that you have people offering to help you move! What a blessing they are in your life!

Gotta get it coordinated yet. There's a group of people from church that are going to an outreach ministry this weekend, so this weekend is out. Next weekend, unless it's Friday or Sunday is out for me as I have a family reunion on Saturday the 6th, and again a class reunion on the 13th. So it's going to be fun to get everything moved.

@CRK109 I'm going to take some things over this weekend. I talked to the pastor tonight at the prayer service and he's going to call me Monday about getting it coordinated. So I'm going to need to get a move on here so I'm ready. I'll be at the apartment all day Monday. I have the Housing inspection in the morning and AT&T will be coming in the afternoon to hook up the Internet and phone. So I'm going to be busy for the next couple weeks getting everything taken care of and moved. I can't wait to be in my new apartment.

I need to be out by August 30. I have a feeling it's going to take most of August to get everything organized to get everything moved. I'm going to start getting what I can moved over to the house by car, but I will need help with the furniture.

It was a quiet day. We took the week end off since Cami bagged up the entire kitchen on Friday. Now we are waiting on the maintenance people to get back with us so we know what else needs to be done before extermination.

Tonight that would be a good Packers football game. Yes, you read that right. It's family night at Lambeau. The only team playing will be the Packers as they play themselves. So it should be a fun night, and it will be televised. So that starts in just a few minutes.

Hi, there! My Monday morning seems to be a relaxing one except for a surprise visit from a Broker friend, nothing mush is happening here. I got an early morning good news though which is enough to make me happy the whole day.
