It isn't that things are any messier than usual with my wife gone for two days, but someone tracked up the kitchen floor pretty badly. Maybe there was a messy burglar while I slept? Then there was that dust all over the wooden floors and those rugs! Yuck! Anyway, I did pick a few fresh strawberries for breakfast too and now it's time to get ready for a short day at the old retail birdseed store. Have a great day

Do you grow your own strawberries? Good job on sprucing the house up before Anne gets home.

@JamesHxstatic Even if you don't get a lot it must be satisfying to grow your own.

We do grow strawberries, but they are not producing a lot.

@JamesHxstatic rofl, ya dusted the floor :D that's more'n the hubs here e'en if'n he tracks'n mud the most he'll do's sweep such into a pile 'n leave 't. i've only gotten 3 maters thus far this year, aint sure's to why? 'd me a bumper crop last season 'n 'twas sure hopin' fer that 'gain. i'd prolly'd 'nough strawberries to last me 'til next year if'n 't weren't fer those danged grasshoppers. they were all flowerin' like crazy prior to the invasion.

Dusted? It never entered my mind! No hoppers here in great numbers, but berries are not plentiful either.

You're a good hubby to clean up before your wife returns. Perhaps a vase filled with flowers @JamesHxstatic ?

I think I had better let her decide which roses she should cut.

Those darn messy burglars. It was probably that notorious criminal known only as @TheHorse.

That burglar must have messed up my floor before heading over to yours

HAHA, I used to blame my ex-husband for all sorts of things that the messy burglar was actually doing...
