The Horse not arrested at celebrity bash in LA!

A County band I'm in (called Durt Cheap) played at a Turner Broadcasting Company (or whatever they're called now) bash in LA this past weekend. Apparently, the dinner and show was part of a big convention that brings TV stars and execs together to view new possible shows for TV. I talked to a bunch of people, but don't watch much TV, so I don't know if I was talking to any TV actors, producers or critics. The gig went really well, but we were big time pooped after. Now I'm back in the Bay Area and ready to get back into my routine, at least for a week. I may go check on the cabin in Montana next week after seeing all of my clients this week. The good news: I didn't get arrested in LA. I was on my best behavior, didn't make any illegal u-turns, and didn't plant any of the sunflower seeds I found in my pocket while I was there. Woo hoo!

There was some pretense there. People are very "image conscious" in LA. But everyone was actually really nice. We drove home on I-5 and admired one of the canals that brings water from the North to LA.

@TheHorse No, not really. We added a few new people to myLot, but other than that, nothing exciting. I've been having an allergic reaction for the last two days. Missed work. Hopefully will be able to see well enough to go in to work this morning. When my eyes are mostly closed, makes it difficult to watch for traffic so scares me to drive. (Last time I tried to drive when my eyes were like this I ran a car off the road by accident. I changed lanes but didn't see the guy beside me. He swerved to miss me and hit a pole. The cops told him if my car had hit his it would have been my fault. Since he dodged my car and hit the pole, it was his own fault.)
