Another headphone down the drain. No more Apple Headphones for me!

I went to go grab my headphones to FaceTime my boyfriend...... and, they're broken! The wire is exposed and where the wire is exposed, it's watery! =/
He told me, not again! This is like the 10th headphone I ruined in just a few years! I'm tired of replacing them every 6 months or so and they add up price wise in the long run! Farewell Apple headphones. I am using my Beats by Dr. Dre In-Ear Earbud Headphones now and I am hoping these will last longer.
Do you frequently change your headphones?

Haha like my parents' would say ... young generations don't take care of their stuff that well. I blame the makers = poor quality.

I totally agree with you! They're expensive as is and not long lasting! Just like my iPhone 6 Plus the rear camera has been replaced twice and its still broken and no warranty. The camera sensor is not clear.

I suspect the reason your earphones are easily damaged may be because you're using them while lying in bed, right?

I use my headphones mostly in bed, yes. But right now I am sitting on the computer. :) I am not very good at caring for these Apple products.

@sunrisefan Ha-ha. That's how my charger cable gets easily damaged from using my phone in bed too. =PI think if I have a bluetooth headset, I'd lose it easier.

@infatuatedbby See? That's the cause of your earphones getting ruined easily. Now I'm scolding you hahaha! Maybe the best thing for you is a bluetooth headset so there won't be any wires to be ruined.

Some I buy last a long time before they break and then others break within the first few uses of them. I had some skull candy ones that lasted for about two years before they gave out and then my boyfriend bought me some ifrogz and they lasted about three month before they broke.

Right now I am using my Beats and I'm hoping they will last longer! Probably Skull Candy ones will be a better investment than iFrogz? :)

@infatuatedbby yea, but my boyfriend bought me the ifrogz because I told him my skull candy ones had broke. He was trying to be nice even though I don't even use the kind that the ifrogs are. I like the ones that go inside my ear and have the little squishy tip to it. He doesn't know anything about headphones.

It depends on when they go bad. I have had the ones I'm using for quite awhile now (don't know the brand.)

The best headphones I ever got were 5 dollars at Wal-mart and they have lasted for such a long time. I always hated Apple Headphone, they hurt my ears so badly and I felt like they were never loud enough, everything sounded muffled.

@infatuatedbby I barely do both ears as well, even with headphones. I like in ear, ear buds but I also really enjoy headphones. They are not as easy but they do give better sound quality.

Yes no more apple headphones for me. Now beats :) They're a little triple the price of apple but hopefully they'll last longer. BUT BUT.... I go them on sale for just the same price as the apple lol
