Getting hit on!

It's been an ongoing trend lately for my boyfriend & I to be witnesses of ladies getting hit on. We're just in the middle of the awkwardness!
A few times while hiking at the beach, we've encountered older men hitting on the younger ladies with corny pick up lines.
One of them being a lady texting while walking by herself and the older fella runs by and says something like, I know you're waiting for my call. Why don't you give me your digits and I'll make your phone ring. The lady obviously looks around and just keeps walking then starts talking on the phone.
Another time was at the market. Out of no where this guy zooms to the lady and goes Do you know Spanish? Because you look hot like pepper. The lady goes No, I don't. I'm not Mexican and walks off. Later, you find him following her throughout the store. Stalker much?
Anyhow, the photo was from todays sunset as we were leaving the beach

I have had these things happen while out as well. It can be very ackward, and I find they tend to be older or married men.

@infatuatedbby It is! Even being single. In a way a guy who is so open, and having these come backs usually get rejected a lot and will try anything with any guy so makes you wonder.

@infatuatedbby Anyone can say anything to us and if we find it offensive, it's up to us to do something about it. I've never had a problem with this kind of behavior and once I start laughing, they back off. Obviously, there are some sick individuals out there and everyone needs to be careful.

Yes, I agree. If I was in their position ~ I'd feel awkward. It has happen to me and I just call up someone usually my boyfriend if I am not with him lol.

I hate when men do this to me and sometimes they aren't so nice when you try to ignore them or try to tell them to leave you alone. If that guy had followed me around the store I would have found a manager and would have asked for him to be escorted out of the store or to have someone walk with me while I got my shopping done and then walk me out to my car. You can never be to cautious about things like that nowadays. I try to not go out anywhere by myself and I feel a lot safer when my boyfriend is with me. That is a very lovely photo by the way.

Yes, back in the days I've had that trouble too. I'd always get on the phone and talk to someone while walking to my car. But, if I was alone and it was night time ~ I'd definitely ask someone for further assistance because I wouldn't want a creepy stalker. I feel a lot safer with my boyfriend too =)
