Another job bites the dust

So, I was about to go to an orientation for a job today..short term thing, but I was looking forward to making some cash and guy calls me saying there may not be any work left..to check with him tommorrow..Geesh..I was literally about to walk out the door...why me??

At least he caught you before you left but it still must have been very disappointing

True, but at least I could have heard about it...oh well..I will call him today,,,just to see..but it doesn't sound too promising.

I hate when this thing happens. I have been looking for a side job and have had this happen a few times.

Well I have another job as well...but I am hestitant to work for them too much because some people complain they havent been paid for some of their work...and who needs that? i am waiting to see if I am paid before doing anything else for them.

Stuff just happens, depending on the job you will most likely quit and get a new job. You can always look up places that have open jobs on websites.

well, I wasn't going to quit the job was only supposed to last a few weeks..and I wasn't certain about it that is why I was to go to the orientation..How annoying
