I slept until late afternoon. My grandson started the eighth grade on the 24th. I hope it will be smooth sailing.

I did mostly cleaning today. Cleaned out the fridge since I'm getting groceries tomorrow. Sounds like you're all set and ready for the new school year! Hope everything goes very well!

You are a great Mother, your family is very lucky, mind you it's not an easy responibility and not everyone is willing or capable of doing such a task.

That sounds exciting. I am here at work having a short break.

Today in many European countries it's a holiday. We are enjoying this extra day relaxing at home. This morning we had a picnic brunch near the lake.

I'm pretty sure the kids on my street are home schooled because the schools in this district started school last week and they've been outside riding their bikes while all the other kids are in school.

I'm happy to hear that you're home schooling your kids. I always told myself that I would home school if I had kids. I feel like it's the better choice.

I will be doing my earning sites as usual. I got up a little later this morning because I stayed up watching movies. So it's gonna take me awhile to really wake up. I got up about an hour later than usual. Yawwwwwwwwwwwwwwn. I admire your dedication to home schooling. I forget, if you told me, where you get the curriculum. I would have had trouble teaching math, lol. My daughter needed extra help with long division and she told me I "didn't do it right." I said well how do you know if you don't know how to do it, lol. I asked the teacher for some extra help for her individually because we were butting heads about it. And I only took business math in high school, I couldn't have helped them with algebra or geometry when they were ready for that. Anyhow, my day is all online earning except I'm going to break to get vacuuming done, and for guitar practice.

I have spent the day at home with my husband. He was off work today.

Both my daughter and daughter in law home-school so they are like you and starting the school year a little early. My other grandchildren still have a few weeks before starting. Hope your first day goes smoothly
