Multitasking

I was just thinking how all through my working life I was able to juggle several duties at once and be just fine with it. Let me be blunt: I can't anymore. Even years ago when I first started earning online, I could open several tabs and multitask. I notice that skill totally slipping away. I can't even keep up with Facebook when I'm myLotting. I think a lot of it has to do with my concentration. I have family worries on my mind as well. My mind wanders so much. So let's talk about you. Do you multitask? Are you able to take care of multiple duties at once? Switch back and forth easily?

Multitasking is slipping away from me too. I need to pay attention to what I'm doing at the time even though I have so many things going on in my brain

@CinnamonGrl I'm one of those who goes from one chore to the other. The only thing I do enjoy is working on the PC and watching something on YouTube on the other PC.

I am a multi tasker, there just aren't enough hours in the day so I need to do more than one thing at a time.

@CinnamonGrl I really didn't think it was anything unusual, it is just the way I work.

I've always been a multitasker, mostly because I used to get bored just doing one thing. But these days, that's changed a bit. I don't multitask as much as I used to. I find myself on the computer writing in total silence. I also find myself reading in total silence, where I used to have something on the TV in the background or music. I don't even have music on while I'm cleaning anymore, which is very strange for me. I've evolved over time so it seems that my brain likes things this way. And I can't very well argue with my own brain! lol

I try not to argue with mine too much, but it does happen sometimes LOL. If I absolutely HAVE to. I used to have music on all the time no matter what I did, but not anymore.

@CinnamonGrl Before I moved out of my house, I gave most of my music collection to my nephew. Turns out that was such a great idea because I haven't listened to much music since I've been here. I did save a few CDs that I could not bare to part with and I guess I'll have to plan a weekend of music...just because! lol

@CinnamonGrl it isn't as critical so I don't force myself to do it

@CinnamonGrl I am thinking it is because I don't need to multitask as I used to at work and have fallen out of the habit

I was able to get some of the information I needed to help clear up the family business issue. It's just bureaucracy, red tape, you know? Thank you.

I have definitely found that my ability to multitask is starting to slowly deteriorate. I am more easily distracted and start off a couple of tasks but completely forget about at least one of them.

I multitask alot and still can do it but I am young yet. But when I'm at work it's hard to multitask as you get interrupted alot but i still manage.

Mostly I can multitask quite well. But sometimes the concentration isn't there and I have to decide to go with one thing at a time.
