A piece of art...really?

I wrote a short post in June under the title 'exploring the beach for pebbles' and took a photo of some of the ones I had picked up locally. I have M.-L to thank for what followed - I glued them on a board. My husband was not impressed (he is an artist who paints beautifully) and it was obvious that my board was not going to hang on the wall as I hoped.
I was reluctant to give up on it so I got the idea of spreading some glue on the board and some glitter on the glue. It worked and to my amazement my husband was impressed. He called me an artist! He has called me many things over the years but this was the most surprising....
He hung it in my kitchen where it catches the evening sun, it reminds me of the beach, sparkling sand and wet stones. I'm so glad I shared the stones with you, your encouragement knows no bounds - it has turned me into an artist!

I think it's very artistic! Japanese artists work with sand and stones in gardens. This reminds me of a Japanese garden.

Part of the charm is that the materials are natural. Nature is always beautiful, you enhanced it by what you did. Glad your hubby approved.

Well done and it certainly does look nice. The glitter was a good idea.
