Does this peeler work well?

peeler

I had a nice peeler before but it was missing several days ago. I can't find the same. Then I bought another peeler from a supermarket but it doesn't work well at all. Now I found a peeler online and it has some good comments. Since it is an imported product, so it is a little expensive. As a peeler, if it doesn't work well with this price, I will feel it is a big waste. It claims that it can even peel the kiwi fruits and tomatoes. Do you think that this peeler is a good one or do you have it at home?

Victorinox is a Swiss company and it is expensive. I do not know if this peeler works well, I prefer another shape.

@youless I use the one you see in the photo since the day I got married. I cannot use another shape, I have the habit to this one.

If you have lost the nice peeler, you might as well go to the place where you first bought it, and see if they have a new one for you. It seems less risky than buying an imported one.

Unfortunately it is no way to get the same peeler I used before. Finally I bought this peeler last week and it works OK. But I still prefer to my old one. Perhaps I get used to use the old peeler.

@youless It is always like that. Even the old T-shirt that is already faded is more comfortable than the new ones.

Oh ! It can peel the kiwi fruits and tomatoes! I haven't used peeler.I usually pare the peel off with a knife, if need be .However I don't throw the peel away as I eat apple and tomato.

I don't know anything about the peeler in your picture but I'd be lost without the one I use all the time.

I don't have it. The reason why I am sometimes afraid to buy online and it is hard to return the product. I am using a little knife peeler that does the job well.

A knife can't peel well to me. I need something better because I am afraid to cut my fingers when I use the knife.
