The Importance Of Preventive Vitamins!

Earlier after eating lunch, I open my backpack and pull out my vitamins case an a curious employee of mine asked if I was sick since he saw me take 4 different pills at once. At first I giggled then I thought maybe I should explain to him why im taking these pills and a whole debate broke out lol. Why do I have to wait to get sick or catch a disease to take care of myself? So in conclusion, I basically told him, Not only are these vitamins 100% organic, they have over 22 Vitamins and Minerals, 20 filternutrients and loads of minerals. I drink these pills everyday twice a day to keep my body functioning at 100%. Before taking Nutrilites Double X vitamins, I would always be tired and felt like I had no energy. I would also eat more since I was getting the right amount of vitamins with the foods I ate on a daily basis. So my reason is, if I can prevent any illnesses or diseases while im young, then im going to continue to consume them and till thise day im seeing results. I havent gotten sick in over 2 years and my body weight has been at 187 for the last 2 years as well. I wake up everyday full of energy and I during my last phsyical my doctor told me I was very healthy for a 26 year old!

A question came to me two days ago regarding food supplements. The question was: why do people take vitamin pills and supplements instead of eating healthy food? I don't take vitamin supplements even organic ones. I'm afraid of having kidney problems in the future.

@BACONSTRIPSXXX another problem with supplements that the health department is concerned about is their regulation.

Thats understandable, see with me I dont always eat breakfast, sometimes I get caught up at work and eat lunch later and most of my dinners are either fried food or simply not as healthy as Id like them to be, so the vitamins and minerals I take make up for all of that and keep me healthy. As far as the kidney problem, many vitamnins and minerals people take arent organic, Nutrilite never even reaches the kidney because they break down naturally in your stomache causing no type of harm etc

In one way yes and another way not really, I pay around 45 dollars for the Double X and it last me 2 months since I only take them once a day instead of twice, health really has no price

Do take decent medical cover. For a span of 10 years from now, you would need about 30 lakhs or so, and for every 10 years thereafter, double it. Anticipate survival till 85-90. Agreed that some procedures are not undertaken at that stage. But who knows which techniques might come up.

That is what my doc told me last week at very close to 76. I have taken vitamins since I was in my twenties too and am certain that they (and good genes) have helped me remain healthy and able to whatever I want.

Thats very true James! My grandfather passed away at the age of 56 from colon cancer and im almost certain he would of lived longer if he would taken care of himself when he was in his late 20s and early 30s! Vitamins even slow down the ageing process by keeping cells healthy
