My spellcheck tells me I am wrong...

small case 'm' small case 'y' capital 'L' small case 'o' small case 't'
Just like myLot itself spells it.
If I spell it any other way, it gets underlined in red. MyLot or mylot or Mylot are all unacceptable to it.
But spelling it myLot it passes the check.
Of course, in the beginning, it said all of them were wrong.
But I added the correct spelling to my 'dictionary' and now it ignores it...when I spell it right.
Does it matter?
Nope.
Just an observation...

I've seen so many variations by users compared to how the site itself spells it that I usually just gloss over them these days. I still catch myself wanting to spell 'eBay' as Ebay or ebay...

@LadyDuck You are welcome! (And you are not dumb! Just un-informed? )

How about when you write a little i, it corrects it as a capital i.

No, it doesn't matter. I was taught to capitalize all titles and names. And, the program of the spellcheck is only as good as it's programmer.

I have always wrote it MyLot. I never noticed the actual way to spell it, apparently I'm not very observant. Lol

lol, can change the dictionary to anything you want, but not a bad idea when it comes to myLot.

@Inlemay Just realized (there's one of those words) that I have my spellcheck programmed to recognize (there's another!) 'coughee'...I got so tired of being told by it that I was spelling that wrong

I've noticed we (Americans) also use a 'z' in some words that the Queen's English uses an 's' in...no idea why or how that happened.

"Spell checker" seriously needs a spell checker of its own.
