How did that happen

To me it is funny. We had a brief power outage and a number of my responses here seemed to have vanished. So I wrote new ones. That was on my discussion here. about being in the country. Well the original responses came back. Some of them are pretty close to identical, you guys got double responses from me. I am glad that a friend helped me get in here more efficiently since the site itself seemed to be having time out. I keep repeating to others now that logging out and back in clears up some of the problem. I am having a quiet day mostly reading and responding. I will continue to see you around.
You know you are in the country and at a rural school, when little girls wear cowboy boots with their tutus and fancy skirts. Or with their shorts. Boys wear...

I've had responses disappear too. I wonder if they are now in twice? They'd be pretty much identical too.

I do not think this has happened before to me. I also know that I have only on very rare occasions seen others double up on my discussions.

I noticed that you responded to me twice - two for the price of one

Too bad I could not be more creative the second time around.

Logging out and back in does help me sometimes, but not always.

Maybe for you it has to do with internet speed like @Shavkat says.

This site goes completely haywire sometimes. Logging out clears my problems for awhile.

Oh, I am blaming this on our local power company. Yes, logging out at least clears the problems temporarily.

@GardenGerty I don't know who to blame it on but I don't believe it's our power company.

That is terrible about the power outage and then the repeat ones.

It happens because we have such strong wind and very little to block it. It is okay.

@GardenGerty Heather, isn't there anything that can be done to prevent all the power outages?

Did you have a lovely day today? It rained Saturday night, and I woke up Sunday morning to a beautiful, cool day.

It was a good, pleasant day. I should have worked hard, but did not. We are to have rain off and on today through the rest of the week It is state fair week.

The logging back in seems to help me too. It is frustrating and sure slows things down. Sorry you had things disappearing.

I have had all sorts of glitches lately. Not that one, but error pages and problems of screen freezing.

In another discussion @jstory reminded a friend to log out and back in and it would help. It does not fix it forever, but it is good for a time. I hope it will help you as well.

I think I knew it before but I had forgotten. It works out okay and I am pleased to be here more easily now.
