Another Annoyance

This morning, before I left, I found out that I had another problem. This one is from a patio door that we had installed 4 years ago. We chose to have the blinds put inside the windows. It always worked fine so far, but not so this morning. The right side of the door's button to control the door is not working properly. I called the company and right now I am waiting for someone to show up and see what they can do. Not a happy camper right now. Any trouble with your windows these days?

We had french doors with the blinds inside put in our last house, plus two regular entry doors with them and never had a problem in 5 years - people who live there now ( three years have had no problem. I don't think they will be in warranty after 4 years but maybe its a easy fix?

I sure can relate to that...its been raining continuously for the last three four days...prior to that we had a problem but could not attend to it in time. Now, I am tense because wall is damp....and they say another four days....it will rain. Roads are not good, can we go and get a professional to look at it in time? I too am praying...

No, the guy came to take a look and will send the info to the company who manufactures the door and will send a technician. No idea when all this will happen.

At my former house, we had those kind of blinds and I LOVED them! We never had problems and the windows were so easy to keep clean. I have shades here on the huge windows they gave me in my apartment, so definitely no problems there. I hope you can get that fixed very soon!

We are in the middle of replacing our plastic flyscreens with metal ones. They look the same but won't be as dangerous should we ever be threatened by a bushfire.

my sister bought a plastic table cover but she placed it in front of the windows, like a shade so the sun's rays won't enter our house.

My neighbor had them and told me about the inside blinds in the patio window and at that time, I thought it was a smart idealike I would never have to dust those things ever again.

We looked at a door like that when we replaced our old patio door, but the owners of the shop that we ordered our door from steered us away from that style. I hope that they fixed it for you. We buy North Star windows and doors and they are only warrantied for 5 years.

Nothing at all, but when strong rains and winds come, I have to run and close them or else it would "rain" inside too! Hope your problem will be fixed soon.
