Breaking News - High Profile Couple Getting Divorced

Well, I just saw this on Facebook - a post from our local TV station in Chattanooga. I am going to assume it is true but it is a shock.
It seems Angelina Jolie and her husband Brad Pitt will be getting a divorce. It says the divorce is being initiated by Jolie. According to the post by WRCB-TV, TMZ made the announcement.
I don't really care much for celebrity news, but I really thought these two would make it for life. It goes to show, you just don't know.

It's difficult to think two getting divorced would work together after - except for Lucy and Ricky Ricardo many years ago.

First MEN are from Mars...women from Venus. Second...how do you know that the lady from Mars is old, that too "little". lol
On a serious note, and this is a doubt about English...when you mention "little old" why shouldn't I interpret it as not too old just a little old...kinda.

I had been hearing rumors about this for quite some time. Sad. I wonder if it was Brad's fault. How can a woman really trust a man who cheats? He cheated with her so what does she expect? Maybe she got tired of him. Who knows what goes on behind closed doors?

I will be honest. I did not like Pitt divorcing Aniston. The blondes were made for each other kinda. Anybody who interferes in a marriage cannot be happy ... my thinking...and there is a saying to that effect also (beech mein aane wala beech mein hi jayega). Meaning the one who comes in between (wedded pair) will not offer lasting relationship. Having said that, there are kids...

Weren't most of the kids her's before the marriage anyway? She is a strange strange person. I think a lot of people (us regular people) turned against Pitt when he left Jennifer.

I'm a little shocked, but not sad. He cheated on Jen with Angie, so I think karma finally just caught up with them. Poor kids though.

That has been announced a lot in the past, but maybe it's true this time. Anyway, those two have made some positive marks in the world. Largely hands-on. I too hope they will continue their philanthropy.

I am not surprised by this.I am surprised how long that this marriage last.I do not care fo Ms.Jolie.
Brad I like.There is something about her.Way back as she had a couple of failed marriages.
I liked Jennifer Aniston much better and was so sorry that they broke up.
All I can say.Yes,not surprised.A pattern of her.Though she last for some time with him.
Not sure who is the blame.She said and He said.

I also preferred Jennifer Anintson too. I was hoping her and Brad would end up back together. I have never been a fan of Angelina Jolie.

The morning TV here has been all about the divorce of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. I don´t trust reporters, but they said that Pitt had been cheating on her.

I heard the divorce is because she is tired of him sitting around, smoking pot and losing his temper frequently. If that is the case, I can see why those problems could become an issue.
