Do you write first a subject or do you write first your post?

When I write a short story in my native language, I always Write the story first and the, after pondering about it for a while, I write the title that says in a better way what it is about.
Here, many times I write down a subject and then, after I have written the post, I have to change it. The title did not mean what I ended up writing about.
How do you do it? Do you have problems with your subjects in relation to the rest of your posts?

To me this is not a writing site, it is a discussion site so first I find a photo I'd like to share and then I try to think of something that Mylotters might want to discuss with me, it doesn't always work but I try. I also do not post everyday, I'm wondering if that's a bad thing though.

There are many photo editors online that you can use to lighten dark photos @marguicha when I bought my PC with Windows 10 on it there was a program built in to edit photos which I use to lighten dark photos .... do you have a windows based PC?

@marguicha I have no fixed way. Sometimes i write the title first and at other times I write the content first. It just depends on my mood at that time.

I try to do that. But it is not so easy as English is not my native language.

I write the post first, almost always. Sometimes, like you, I write a title (more like a subject line) and then change it afterwards. In journalism school I learned that the reporter writes the story, then the editor is in charge of writing the headline. That was true back in the print journalism days before the internet, that is, you know, back in the Stone Age.

As I started to write in the Stone Age, I always write the title in my stories after the story is finished and edited by me. But this posting is different and I not always follow the rules of the trade.

I always do the title first, then the post. The only time I get stuck on the title is when i am writing about an article I found.

I often write a title first. But I have to change it many times because it doesn´t fit the the post.

I sometimes try to think of a catchy title before I start writing the discussion but 9 times out of 10 I've thought of a better one before I post it. Very often I write the post and then think of a title. Some people, it seems, put their cursor in the Title box and start typing and then, when the space runs out, just continue in the Description field!

For me, to think about writing a post has to do with a title, but mostly as a way to start with something. Later on, when the post is written, many times I have to change it.

I already know what my post will be about and what I want/need to say in it. I write the title and then the post.

When I am writing a script I write the title, then bullet points, and then I write the story. For here, it depends on if I already got the clever title or not. If I already thought of it, then of course I write the title first and if I don't well I either think about it along the way of writing or when I am done.

Maybe it is different when you are writing in your native tongue.

That happens to me always when I write stories in my native language. Stories change and twist. But they are usually more complex than posts.

I write my posts first before coming up with the title. If i write the title first, i would definitely violate the rules. Cos i would be stuck what to write. And it may become a one liner
